About
I have been practicing cyber law and banking litigation in Delhi since 2016. My work primarily involves representing individuals whose bank accounts have been frozen or had a lien marked under the NCRP process — cases where the account holder had no involvement in the fraud but was caught in the money trail. I handle matters before the cyber crime cell, Investigating Officers, and courts, and assist clients in preparing the right applications at each stage. I also advise on consumer forum complaints against banks where the grievance process has been ignored.

How I can help
- If your bank account has been frozen or a lien has been marked — I can identify the exact stage of the matter and draft the right application for the IO or court.
- If the Investigating Officer is not responding — I can escalate formally to the SP/DSP or file an application in the appropriate court.
- If 60 days have passed and no charge sheet has been filed — I can file an application for release of funds under BNSS provisions.
- If you are in a different state than where the freeze order came from — I can help you navigate the right channels without requiring you to travel.
- If your EMIs are bouncing due to the freeze — I can help you communicate formally with the lender and document the situation.

Frequently asked questions
What does it mean if my bank account has been frozen or a lien has been marked?
A freeze or lien usually happens after a cybercrime complaint is filed against a UPI ID, account number, or transaction linked to your account — often because your account received funds that were part of a reported fraud, even if you were not involved. The bank restricts the account on the police or NCRP system's instruction until the matter is resolved or the lien is lifted by the investigating authority or a court.
Do I need to travel to the state where the freeze order came from?
Not necessarily. In most cases, you can send a formal application to the Investigating Officer via registered post or email. If the IO does not respond, I can help you file in your local court, which can also direct the concerned police station.
Can a frozen bank account be released through court?
Yes — where the lien has continued for an unreasonable period, or was marked without due process, an application can be filed before the appropriate court or authority to seek release of the funds or account. The process and forum depend on the specifics of the case.
What if 60 days have passed and there is still no charge sheet?
Under BNSS provisions, if a charge sheet is not filed within the prescribed period, an application can be made to the court for release of the frozen funds. I regularly handle such matters and can assess whether your case qualifies.
